Opening Day 2024

When: Saturday, April 27. Arrive at 8:30 to line up for the parade - the parade will start at 9am sharp. The ceremony should take 30-40 minutes.
Where: Line up at the bottom of the sledding hill in Payson Park; we will walk (parade) over to Loring Field, about 1/4 of a mile.
Who: All players from baseball and softball, t-ball through Majors, as well as Slugger the Sea Dog!

Important notes:
- Parking will be tight. The park entrances will be closed early on Saturday to ensure our safety during the parade. You can park at the top of the sledding hill on Ocean Ave, or on one of the side streets surrounding Payson Park. Do not park in the church parking lot as they will have cars towed!

- Players will line up in the following order: T-ball, AA Softball, AA Baseball, AAA Softball, AAA Baseball, Majors Softball, Majors Baseball. Players should find and line up with their team. We will have signs to help you find the right spot. Coaches, if you want to make a sign to help people find your team, go for it.

Please have your player wear their uniform to the parade.

- Parents should not be walking in the parade, nor should they come onto the field when we reach Loring Field. Parents can either walk alongside the parade and take pictures, or drop off your child (coaches and board members will be there to supervise the kids) and head over to find a spot at the field outside the fence. The Kiwanis Snack Shack will be open, so bring some money!
